A visit to Boracay is not complete without the usual white sand beaches, good looking girls and of course… Food! If you are looking for a money’s worth dinner, check out this restaurant located at Station 3. The dinner buffet is P295/person and with almost 20+ preparations to choose from, it is very well worth it.
This review will concentrate on the food and location. First, Bamboo Grill is just a stone throw away from the beachfront and located at the main walk way so it is not hard to miss it. You also have the option to eat at the tables located near the beach. They say that Boracay is classified according to sand and luxury. Station 1 has finer white sand and high end vacation destinations. Station 2 is for the party goers and station 3 is for those who are looking for peace and quite and has most of the cheaper hotels and transient houses. But when it comes to food, Station 2 and 3 offers the most buffets for hungry vacationers.
I love foodgasm and I always look for “value for money” deals. This one I found to be just right.
The Location, Station 3
The preparation of the buffet is a typical “pick what you want” street style. You have the option to pay first or pay later just in case you have additional orders outside of the buffet menu like drinks. There are cooks on the left side of the buffet table who will cook noodles and grill chicken or pork for you. A medium sized “lechon baboy” is also available at the other side of the pathway. Over-all, the food was delicious and satisfying.
My tip to those who would like to try this restaurant, go for the seafoods first while it is still hot, then the grilled meat and vegetables. The soup goes last.
As always, don’t take my word for it, go try!
